Happy Friday! It’s April Fool’s Day. I could take this opportunity to use Friday Favorites to list a few fake things I’m loving like anchovies on scrambled eggs or the idea of adopting a pet skunk – but, I refuse. This day kind of makes me nervous. Let’s move on. This week was a good one, and I plan to cap it off with an equally good weekend, seeing a movie and spending time indoors since it’s supposed to snow here in the Boston area! (Unfortunately, that’s not an April Fool’s joke.)
If you read yesterday’s post, The Best Dairy Alternatives, then you know I’m really into the new Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy ice cream. I’ve been indulging in this a little bit all week.
Mike and I along with our dog, Jasper, took advantage of the sunny weather and late sunsets by going for a long walk on Wednesday night. We ventured all through my old neighborhood where I grew up. It was really fun seeing how things have changed & somehow stayed exactly the same over the past couple of decades.
A good astrologer is a rare thing, and Hilary Harley is just that. I had a natal chart reading with her last year, and it was an eye-opening and inspiring experience. She writes free monthly astrological summaries, and I look forward to reading them at the beginning of each month. Read April’s here.

Man Repeller is my go-to blog for a good laugh or fashion inspiration or even life lessons. Creator, Leandra Medine is funny, smart and I want to be friends with her.
This week, Man Repeller posted a piece where they asked “A Bunch of People: What do You Love About Your Job?” The results are cool. People are cool. There are lots of interesting people out there. This post proves it. Check it out for yourself.

If you follow me on twitter @cultivatedrevel, then you may have seen this picture of an “Easter punch” my family made for our Holiday dinner on Sunday. Very festive, but arguably not very Easter-y. We drank it anyway. With Coconut rum, Blue Curacao, Sprite and Seltzer, it was possibly more appropriate for a beach soiree, but we didn’t care! It was great. And it was fancy because my grandmother lent us her glass punch bowl from the 1960’s. The funnest!
While perusing Pinterest for drink recipes, I came across lots of good options. This post from blog: My Domaine has a few really great sounding ones that I can’t wait to try when the weather warms up!
